Original creations to inspire you
For the 3 days of the Salon du Végétal trade show, young designers show their projects which are aimed to bring new perspectives to the commercialisation and consumption of plants and flowers. Materials and colours, patterns and lines, shapes and fashions all come together with brio.
The Innovation Centre is found next to the Plant Perspectives Centre in Les Terrasses hall. Discover the 2013 creations as well as the other ones from 2008.
Create conviviality thanks to plants!
In a world where social and human tensions are ever present, plants have an important role to play. The "More than Conviviality!" theme for 2013 in the Espace Inspiration has been proposed to encompass plants, thanks to design, with an innovating eye: that of human relations. The creations of around 20 designers will show that plant and flower design concentrates human exchange, communication, sharing. By using prototypes, these creations will be exhibited for the 3 days of the trade show on a specific stand, located in the Les Terrasses hall, found right next to the Plant Prospective Centre.
3 prizes to reward creativity and pertinence
New in 2013: the "Audacity Prize" has been awarded to the designers of RockingBoobs. The « Visitor’s choice » has been awarded to Sticky Pous'. A jury made up of professionals from the plant and flower world and from the world of design have awarded the « A new design look at plants prize » to Cubactus. It rewards the most innovating and the most promising prototype.
