Apart from commerce and novelty related events on the Salon, the agricultural and horticultural lycée Luçon-Pétré offers a specific service, in partnership with the Salon du Végétal and the magazine Lien Horticole, the Job Pool (Bourse à l’Emploi).

Direct relations

This service puts horticultural companies looking for talent in relation with applicants looking for a job or professional change, directly during the Salon du Végétal.
Employers and applicants can leave their ads on the Bourse à l'Emploi (Job Pool) stand in November during the Forum Forinstal (Forum for employment, companies creation and transmission, in Angers), and then from December to March on the website www.boursealemploi.org
During the Salon du Végétal, a stand located in the Amphitéa hall allows interested persons to leave or consult ads. A special area will allow employers and applicants to meet directly during the fair.

Bourse à l'Emploi: 2007 results

118 companies left 329 job offers.
136 applicants left ads through the Job Pool.

The number of applicants slightly decreased over the last years, while the number of companies offering a job widely increased.

Commerce is the most highly represented sector (45% of applications and 53% of offers). Applications in the production sector are down, while the supply of jobs is still high.
Jobs offered are located all over France as well as in Europe and Northern Africa, but most of them are for nrth-west of France and around Paris.
