The origins of the fair
|
The idea of organising a trade fair at the heart of a French horticultural region was first conceived in 1980.
The enthusiasm of the professionals from the Union Horticole Angevine (UHA) led to a project named “SALON ANJOU VERT” in October 1981. In 1985, it becomes the “SALON DU VÉGÉTAL”, created and organised by the Bureau Horticole Régional (BHR), at the Exhibition Centre in Angers.
