Project "FREE'P"
Designers:
Céline Avrilla - Solène Guillois
Make room for recycling with FREE'P. Quite simply converted from their initial purpose, clothing and accessories recovered from a second-hand shop find a second life as decorative objects. These creations are part of a sustainable development approach and, for outdoor plants, serve as protection against the cold. FREE'P can be used either as a flowerpot holder, or as a pot in which the plant will be re-potted.
The containers are unique and derive added personality from their own background (colours, materials, textures...). The various components (pockets, protective collars, belts...) are joined together by sewing for the outer fabrics and by thermowelding for the inner linings, ensuring watertightness. Excess water is drained through a hole made by a used plastic bottle neck, closed with its cap. A nylon filter attached to the bottle neck holds back the earth when the cap is undone. FREE'P is machine-washable.
The range consists of 7 pots. 2 collections: Spring-summer and Autumn-winter.
FREE'P is designed for indoor as well as outdoor plants.
All concepts and images are protected by the Lycée Jean Monnet.
