The Salon du Végétal at the Parc des Expositions in Angers sets up as the great professional show in France for the horticultural chain.
An annual meeting for vegetal and horticulture from which its 600 exhibitors and over 16,000 professional visitors would not get away.

> Espace inspiration® - Horticultural design, creations and research

Aims  Offer the plant sector new angles on methods for marketing and consuming plants using the product design. Give inspiration to the plant field. Unfolding With specifications given by the organizing committee of the Salon du Végétal, young designers from the Jean Monnet high school (product design certificate) create prototypes portraying plants in innovative ways. In November, a jury made up of members of the horticultural trade and the design world meets to decide the prototype that will win the "New design approach to plants" trophy. During the fair, the prototypes are exhibit on the Espace Inspiration® stand.

2010 theme “the off-soil kitchen garden” In recent years we have seen increased interest, particularly amongst city-dwellers, in growing a few vegetables in a small space, such as a balcony, terrace or windowsill. Specific varieties of vegetables have been created to cope with the lack of space and the desire for both productivity and embellishment. Young designers will work on the idea of the outdoor or indoor off-soil kitchen garden.		2010 plants Ten plants are worked on: these may be aromatic plants, vegetables, fruit bushes or edible flowers.
