French Cut Flowers Day

NEW 2024: Day dedicated to the French Cut Flower at the, on Wednesday 11 September!

The aim of this event is to strengthen and develop the sector by facilitating exchanges between producers, distributors and the plant ecosystem.

It includes a forum with a dynamic presentation of the ecosystem and the role of each, a cocktail reception, a presentation on the update of the Flower Quality Charter, a guided tour of the show from the cut flower angle, testimonies from experts and a conference on future trends.

AIM OF THE EVENT :

  • To provide an opportunity to structure and develop the French cut flower sector.
  • To answer the questions of today’s buyers and growers and to provide the keys to future production or trading facilities.
  • Create links between all the elements in the industry.

 

PROGRAMME FOR THE DAY – wednesday 11 septembre (registration is compulsory)

10:00 – 12:00: “The forum” An opportunity to learn about the key issues in the production and distribution of cut flowers in France. It’s an opportunity to meet and talk to the key stakeholders in the French cut flower industry and highlight their role. This presentation is aimed at :

Production Distribution
Do you produce cut flowers or are you thinking of establishing a business or diversifying? Where can you find answers about the market and demand, technical aspects, financing, profitability, logistics, regulations, marketing, training, etc.? You sell cut flowers, or you’re thinking of setting up as a distributor or diversifying your business: where can you find answers about availability, seasonality, origin, traceability, quality, suppliers, logistics, cost, certification, trends, etc.?

12:00 – 1:30 pm: Cocktail lunch – Exhibition areas organised into themed areas: training, innovation, distribution, production, certification: come and meet your contacts who are experts on these subjects.

1:30 – 1:40 pm: Presentation of the Flower Quality Charter and its development

1:45 pm – 3:00 pm: Cut flowers itinerary for growers and buyers – A guided thematic itinerary to meet exhibitors specific to your profile, prepared to receive the group: wholesalers, production, technical institutes, suppliers, training centres.

3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Round table – Sharing Experiences between professionals

  • Testimony of a wholesaler (MOINET ET FILS)

5:00 – 6:00 pm: Trends 2025-2026 conference by CHLOROSPHERE
